First-Floor Renovation

Pennsylvania

This unique residence combines a modern home with an original 19th-century schoolhouse, creating a property rich in character and contrast. Cappelletti Builders was engaged to renovate the home’s first floor, updating key living spaces while respecting the site’s historic context.

The project included a new kitchen, butler’s pantry, and reworked mudroom, along with the addition of a full first-floor bathroom—allowing for flexible living and long-term accessibility. While the historic schoolhouse remains largely untouched and serves as a family flex space, the newly renovated areas provide a comfortable, functional complement to the property’s original structure.
